About Me
I’m Donnalynne. Experimenting with paint brings me into a playful mind space. Texture, metallic paints and leafing appear frequently in my artwork as they add both life and substance. Another approach I like to use in my painting is visual texture. This often takes me to the place of creating illusions. I see faces, creatures and energies in nature all the time and not surprisingly they play on my canvases as well.
I inherently pull out the energies already there on the canvas waiting to come into reality. The exploration of not knowing where I’m going with a piece and letting the process and my higher self direct me towards completion gives me great satisfaction.

My Process
I work two ways. First, I create artwork on canvas and board as well as take and print photos in which all are for sale or can be printed.
The second way I work is to paint directly on the walls, furniture, etc. in your home or business. The second way, I will need to talk with you first to see what your project is. Usually we talk, possibly text me a photo of the ideas, room/s or furniture and set up an appointment. I then go see the space or item in person. After I've left, I will call back when I have figured out the price or price range depending on whether it is a finish or mural you wish to have me paint. Once the price is agreed upon, I will create samples or sketches and either mail them to you, text photos or take them to you. This is a very custom process and can take some going back and forth. Once we set a date, 1/3 deposit is required to begin and balance is due upon completion.
